No. I want my kitchen to be clean automatically but as long as I don't act that won't happen.

It's literally referenced in the ticket above.

Hi,

What sort of hardware are you using? Is this an EFI console?

You could always try the older 21.1 images, but they also do not behave in EFI setups as far as the installer goes.

Are you accessing the OPNsense via hostname? 15 seconds delay sounds like resolver failure, maybe because of defunct IPv6...

Well, run IPS on LAN in that case is what I would have suggested too.

What sort of hardware / network devices are we talking about? Does traffic not pass through or not? If it passes does not not block?

19.1.r1 added the ability to track plugins installed and removed in the configuration as a first step to this complex requirement.

21.1.3 added "plugin conflict resolution" options available from your firmware GUI status page much like the audit features. Missing plugins can be automatically installed or the misconfiguration / missing plugin situation can be accepted as the new default.

21.7.1 added the "plugin conflict resolution" as an automatic addendum of the console option 12) firmware upgrade.

server:
    private-domain: "plex.direct"

Private domain is supported, see Services: Unbound DNS: Blocklist.

If now the custom-options Form is removed from the GUI, is there any chance to get the custom-options.conf with the adaptations in the backup / and later on with a fresh install recovered....

The whole point is not making something uncontrollable stick in the configuration in the first place.

Yes, as of 21.7.1 multiple ways of doing this exist.

Hi,

Ah yes... context :)

We don't have this out-of -band IP block via pf table, because it's simply insecure. When it blocks, you have already been exploited.

I'm not sure what "legacy" is to you. We have PCAP mode (IPS unticked) and Netmap mode (IPS ticked).

...just to add: the promised 50.- € donation for the project is out, plus 50.- € donation for general charity (flooging victims, refugees, social service). Mission accomplished, regarding DoT and OPNsense :-D

Hi there,

Same as any major upgrade. Since we cross major version number in OS you can best compare this with the 20.1 -> 20.7 upgrade which changed from 11 to 12.

Sali Shub,

Fehlt da vielleicht die Aktivierung der Einstellung Use IPv4 connectivity beim IPv6 WAN... Ich denke Static IPv6 wäre dabei die einfachste Lösung.

It reads the "media:" tag of your ifconfig... I suppose it's empty for the 2.5G:

# ifconfig | grep media:

Igb issue was i210 I think and has been fixed 3 days after 21.7 came out. As safe as it gets I presume.

Let me know how it went for you.
