Many thanks for the tip.

Unfortunately after running opnsense-bootstrap and reloading the backup configuration we are not able to update the version, sqlite error persists as well as missing  /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/OPNsense.conf.

Trying to run a second time  opnsense-bootstrap shows "package database non-existent"

Does it look like a hardware/SDD issue?

Hi,

After the update to 25.7 we face sqlite error on the package database "database disk image is malformed".

Attached please find logs from the update and pkg bootsrap commands.

After backup of  /var/db/pkg/local.sqlite its recovery has not succeeded.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi there,

Please give it try to this configuration:

1.- On the advanced options on the firewall rule on the LAN interface, activate "allow options"
2.- Install os-igmp-proxy plugin
3.- Configure IGMP Proxy selecting your WAN interface as Upstream, Networks 224.0.0.0/4 + "Multicast sources IP"
4.- Configure IGMP Proxy selecting your LAN interface as Downstream.Networks LAN Network

Hope this helps

Hi,

May I ask if you provide DNS servers to the VPN & Wireguard clients?

On the firewall rules there should be a Wireguard entry, have you set any traffic rule there?
/32 refers to allowing traffic only from this IP of the Wireguard range.

Hope this helps

Hi,

Don't you map ip address to each specific MAC on the DHCP server  and then allow these Ips through the captive portal?

Hope this helps

Have you tried the os-igmp-proxy plugin?

It does send an IGMP V2 General query packet on the selected Downstream interface.

Hi,

We have deployed OVPN in Tap mode for very specific scenarios (L2 discovery required).

We just added the OVPN Server's interface to the LAN bridge.

Hope this helps

Wireguard running as expected on our 25.1 deployment (just private Wireguard servers).

May I suggest to check firewall configuration on the Wireguard interface?

Hope this helps
#12
Have you checked  the General logs?
#13
I would suggest to check firewall configuration on WAN interafce as well as port forwarding rule.

I would use tcpdump on interfaces WAN/LAN  interfaces to try to sort out the issue.

Hope this helps

Looks good.

Would you share final interfaces configuration on Opnsense (ifconfig) as well as Driver used on the NIcs?

Thanks & regards

I would suggest to review the NAT configuration.

What does  tracert www.opnsense.com shows on the local_PC?
