Multicast configuration for EE IPTV

Hi,

I am trying to get the live TV channels to work on my EE TV box (EE is my TV/Broadband vendor in the UK).  If I use the supplied EE router it works with no issues.  When I replace the supplied router with an Opnsense it stops.  I have access to the Internet, Opnsense is setup to perform NAT/DHCP to the local LAN.  Having read lots of forums, reddit posts and the Opnsense docs, I think I need to enable IGMP by enabling multicast forwarding and setting up a multicast route.  Nothing I've tried so far has worked, I don't see any multicast traffic in the logs.

Can anyone make any suggestions on what I can try?  You cannot view this attachment. You cannot view this attachment.

Hi there,

Please give it try to this configuration:

1.- On the advanced options on the firewall rule on the LAN interface, activate "allow options"
2.- Install os-igmp-proxy plugin
3.- Configure IGMP Proxy selecting your WAN interface as Upstream, Networks 224.0.0.0/4 + "Multicast sources IP"
4.- Configure IGMP Proxy selecting your LAN interface as Downstream.Networks LAN Network

Hope this helps
