maybe switching to a different mirror in system>firmware>settings could help?
#2
Funfact: after creating the first post here it was fast afterwards...
So it does not seem to be permanent.
Maybe I am lucky enough to hit the times when it is slow...

Hi, is it just me or is the forum website responding very slowly since at least 12 hours?
#4
I am using the VnStat plugin
#5

7 years ago I decided for OPNsense, and I still love it!

keep up your good and hard work!

@thera:
#1 nutzt du die OPNsense auf VMware ESX?
#2 kann es sein, dass du dich beim Interface Assignen verhaut hast? ovpns1_vlan199 sieht für mich irgendwie nach OpenVPN aus...

#11
please have a look at the Zenarmor plugin - this one can you provide such metrics
#12
since I read "re" adapters - Realtek - I would try the plugin os-realtek-re for the "old" realtek drivers

General Discussion / Re: OPNsense as a VMware VM

there are three areas to configure: physical networks (the nics you have in your ESXi I assume), those you assign in the virtual switch config area to a nic, and the vlan configuration is happening in the port group area.
from your description I assume you missed or messed up the vlan config in the port group area, since you assign port groups to the nics in your OPNsense virtual machine.

why not using the vnstat plugin on OPNsense? it gives you hourly, daily, monthly and yearly statistics about bandwith usage... you can also query it via API...
or do you need other information beside that?
