#1 nutzt du die OPNsense auf VMware ESX?
#2 kann es sein, dass du dich beim Interface Assignen verhaut hast? ovpns1_vlan199 sieht für mich irgendwie nach OpenVPN aus...

ich würde VLAN auf der ESX machen und die dann auf die OPNsense durchreichen

there are three areas to configure: physical networks (the nics you have in your ESXi I assume), those you assign in the virtual switch config area to a nic, and the vlan configuration is happening in the port group area.
from your description I assume you missed or messed up the vlan config in the port group area, since you assign port groups to the nics in your OPNsense virtual machine.

why not using the vnstat plugin on OPNsense? it gives you hourly, daily, monthly and yearly statistics about bandwith usage… you can also query it via API…
or do you need other information beside that?

ich hab zwar selber kein A1, glaube aber fast, dass A1 Carrier Grade NAT (CGN) macht… da wirds mit offenen Port weiterleiten für VPN schwierig, ohne das man eine von öffentliche/public IP beantragt

is "Enable Static ARP entries" active in the DHCP settings? (help of that settings says: This option persists even if DHCP server is disabled. Only the machines listed below will be able to communicate with the firewall on this NIC.)

question: your windows pc - network icon in the task bar - does it show offline or online?
I had this once with one box and had to run the windows network troubleshooting go get over that issue...
I first also thought it might be something like Sensei or PiHole, but since other similar setup PCs did not show that issue and the only difference was the network icon - I had to fix it with network troubleshooting, but it takes some time until windows shows your network online (connected to the internet again)

I have seen something similar last weekend...
for some fun testing I wanted to install OPNsense 21.1 on a ASRock N3150DC-ITX with dual port intel NIC attached... same picture as thread starter - stuck at booting, but if you wait long enough it will beep at some point (what it usually does when it finished booting), but since there was no other output on the screen I cancelled this one...
during that fun test I also tried at least two different USB drives and also burned a ISO to DVD, switched between USB 2 and USB 3; resetted BIOS settings; ...no success...
maybe I should have tried to attach a network cable and see if another device gets an IP address after the "finished booting" beeps...

did another fun-test today - after the "finished booting" beeps I attached a network cable and was able to connect to 192.168.1.1 via SSH - logged in as installer and was able to install OPNsense on that box.
After booting from SSD the console worked as usual...

Sorry, my question was misleading you. It is not about Unbound, it is about AdGuard from the repository of this thread.

Sorry I should have read your post twice before trying to answer... missed the fact that it does not work with AdGuard...
