There is a bit of wiki documentation already: https://wiki.opnsense.org/index.php/Quagga

More on how plugins are working / how to build one at: https://wiki.opnsense.org/index.php/Develop:Creating_the_hello_world_module

:)
Thanks franco :)
But first up is installing opnsense and testing & exploring it in our sandbox ;)

The community is growing! :)

Cheers,
Jochen

It certainly is and that's good but a lot of those forum "members" are spam bots. :( It's a fact of life with forums software, I'm afraid.

Part of today's internet culture I guess. We can do a larger spring clean every once in a while, but it's impossible to weed out all spam accounts. Some of them never post and they look like normal users who just like to read. Flushing unused accounts even after half a year is hardly done right.

Bans need to be lifted, because otherwise they lock out real users a few months later.

All I can say is that different metrics should be used like postings or active users.

Hi Franco

Indeed it is part of modern internet culture that I know only too well as a moderator on a large busy forum. Ther are quite a few of the accounts that do look like spam bot accounts to me but I'll just continue to report them as I see them post. :)
Regards

Bill

Hi Bill,

I delete any account that you report unless someone beats me to deleting the posting. Please keep reporting, thanks. :)

Cheers,
Franco

That leaves us with 2500 which is still an achievement. Maybe we should do conversion rates like every user counts 40% of an actual user. Make sure to bring your friends to reach 100%. ;)

Yea- for sure.

Just amazing how fast a forum can be taken over by sleaze.

Took me a couple of weeks to clean out a forum I admin for once these accounts started coming in.

Now that we're around for > 1 year we can maybe cycle out some older non-post accounts and see if we hit any complaints there. :D

I'm sure we will.
Hobbyist at home, sysadmin at work. Sometimes the first is mixed with the second.

Reached 8000! And climbing! Keep up this great work!
