Ok so I have opnsense virtualized in proxmox. I used opnsense before but left it for pfsense because of low upload speeds and on pfsense upload speeds were fine but I don't like pfsense overall. I just shifted back to opnsense I have my modem in bridge mode and the ip is assigned through pppooe. My download speeds are fine 30 Mbps and upload should be 30Mbps as well but my upload is 4Mbps so what could be the problem.

PS: opnsense is on default settings I didn't change anything expect for the LAN IP and updated opnsense that's it.

PS: Please check the attachments below.

I am having the same problem. I start a speed test and hit my near gigabit on the down side but when the upload starts it bursts to like 3.5 at first then throttles down to .10  When I switch my gateway back to my providers I hit my near gigabit up again. I'm not using any vlans or anything complicated but cannot find an answer.

I'm also having the same issue, noticed that i can barely get 8mbps up..

Cannot confirm. Use VLANs (internal and to the ISP) and IPS.
