Thanks, what server and port are you using? Mine began working again today. I'm not sure how it's possible when I changed nothing. Hope it stays that way.

Receiving the error [There were error(s) loading the rules: no IP address found for ovpnc1].

My PIA gateway gets and openvpn receives an IP. NAT rules haven't changed since it was working last.

Can I roll back my system a few updates to see if the issues goes away?

Does anyone have PIA vpn working on the latest build? About a week ago or so mine stopped working. It connects fine but I am not getting any internet.

Same issue for me using cloudflare

Everything was working fine for years and then OPNsense went down. When it went down it locked up my connected windows computer. I tried to start OPNsense back up to no avail.I thought for sure there was a hardware issue so I ran memtest and smart extended. Everything checked out good so I ran a live installer and imported a recent backup. Everything booted up fine and I'm back running. Reboot the router and the same issue happens where it won't boot up. Did the same thing another time to confirm. Then I just installed to factory defaults and everything works and I can restart fine.

What could cause it to boot the restored config fine but not reboot it again? What logs should I be looking at and is there an easy way to isolate the errors? Why would the Windows pc lockup during the crash?

My isp blocks 25 and 80 by default but that seem to be your case. If the port forward worked and you were able to connect a few days ago try to think back to what changed. Start from fresh and follow a guide for port forwarding.

In settings NAT> port forward. You should have a rule

Interface=wan
Address=wan address
Ip=host
Ports=your ftp ports

It looks like you have LAN instead WAN

EDIT:just realized what you were trying to do.Try a port scan website to see if it is open. Does your isp block ports? DO you have something else before the router that could be blocking it. A port forward is pretty straight forward.

Do you have the correct [IP] address?

If your ftp server is on the lan why do you need to port forward it to the lan?

You can set up an alias for what routes through the vpn. Put the IPs in the alias that you want routed through the vpn. All you have to do is add and remove IPs if you want them routed or not.

I'm at a loss trying to get my vpn connection to work using openvpnclient on android with tap selected
in the settings. It connects fine with no errors that i'm aware of but I seem to have no dns since I can't reach any local devices or www pages. I'm running unbound as a resolver.  don't know what i'm missing but maybe someone will see something wrong.

OPNsense vpn server settings:
user auth local database
protocol=udp
device mode= tap
interface=wan
IPv4 Tunnel Network = 10.68.69.0/24 (my lan)
redirect gateway=checked
dynamic ip=checked
address pool= checked
firewall allow rule on wan and openvpn

Just wanted to say it's a very nice interface and works well. Very user friendly. Ran into an issues where the reports are getting corrupted and I have to fix them. How far away on the roadmap is importing custom whitelist/blacklist and will it be on the free tier? Maybe even a page to add url's to pull our favorite lists and a few popular ones preloaded to enable?

You can currently create user defined black/white lists and custom categories with user-defined web categories.

I guess what you're looking for is bulk addition, am I correct? I guess we can provide a functionality to bulk import URLs/Domains in the free edition. This could be an enhanced version of the current functionality where you can not only input a single domain but a batch of domains to any user defined category.

When I use the live session report viewer I noticed there is only a blacklist action and not a whitelist action. Is this by design?

Wondering the same thing. I've been having issues with Cloudflare ddns and let's encrypt plugin. I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing but never had an issue before.

The killswitch is no longer working for me in 18.7.  Does anyone have it working or a fix?
