I tried browsing http sites (also modified the DNS overide thing) and I can see it's reaching to the sites BUT it's a weird because each http URL has suffix of "?refresh" just stalled and keep refreshing.

I heard there's some updates coming up, i hope fix is included.

Hey J, i had the whole evening of testing but success on the captive portal.

I have confirm that I can get internet without the captive portal running so I can say my NATs are fine!

Is this guide outdated? can someone please correct or update this?

I am desperate now need to get this working for the school.

Can I give you any logs or dump you want to check?

Back to the subject, have you tried opening a http page?
(for example http://www.nu.nl/ )

The example redirects http only, you have to install a certificate to catch https too.

HAHA, my newbie embarrasing mistake. I haven't tried opening a http site, It might work I will try tonight.

What if my users need to open https sites such as Gmail and Youtube?
