SQM CODEL

I was looking into helping some buffer issues I am having and came across this thread from 2016
https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=2279.0
I was wondering if this was fully implemented? It seemed to drop off as a beta add on pending FreeBSD 11.1 baked it in fully.

We have it integrated since 16.1.12, which was April 27, 2016.
https://github.com/opnsense/changelog/blob/fbb1145dc6d1aec7c3b6c49884bc43bf6d172c73/doc/16.1/16.1.12#L26
FreeBSD has since adopted it... it was fully merged in 11.0 as far as I know.
Cheers,

What about fq_pie?
Seems to be working but not available in the UI. (Needs added here
https://github.com/opnsense/core/blob/1667f2c3979afba5f137c960a95d900439baea48/src/opnsense/mvc/app/models/OPNsense/TrafficShaper/TrafficShaper.xml#L59
?)
Not well tested as I use multi-WAN so can't check upstream works.

Indeed, PIE has not been added as that came in a wee bit later and general population was happy with fq_codel.
All PRs welcome on GitHub. Tickets, too.
Cheers,
Franco
