Seeking a bridge failover solution

I am seeking a solution like OPNsense which can run in bridge mode with a failover/standby unit. I am aware that multi bridges are going to make a mess without the right network solution, which is why i would like to know if OPNsense is able to automatically activate/deactivate the master and slave bridges upon failover (network changes) in order to simplify my network. I know that Sophos UTM is able to do this, but it is a quite expensive solution.

Is OPNsense capable of this or is it possible to implement manually somehow?
