OPNsense and OpenVPN (AirVPN) setup

Hello all,

anyone have a good updated guide on how to configure a VPN services (in my case AirVPN) with OPNsense?  I tried something like this when I was on pfSense/PIA but I made a hash of it since the UI had been updated but the guide had not been.

Ok so last night I had some time to try this out.  I found a a bunch of guides (a few for illustration sake):

But even after painstakingly going over the guides (yeah  I i know it's not a one to one using a guide meant for pfsense) three times (admittedly fixing a number of mistakes along the way) I ended up with no internet connection.  Played around until I ran out of time and then restored to the point just prior to making all the changes.

As a relative noob I have to say that I've had root canals that were less painful than to try to setup an OPENVPN connection.

So you want your OPNsense box to be a AirVPN client, and then use it (OPNsense) as a gateway (router) for the rest of your network? It's not terribly clear what you are trying to achieve.
