DHCPv4 with DNS registration + SRV records

What DNS server or combination of DNS servers do I need to use with dnsmasq DHCP to be able to add arbitrary DNS records and have DNS registration work?

It looks like I can follow the document "DHCPv4 with DNS registration" and then add some text configuration files to add the records I want. Is that the best way? I can't see any other obvious way.

Right now, I'm using Unbound with query forwarding to Bind for my internal zone. I've never had it set up correctly with DNS registration.
