Hello OPNsnese Dev Team (:

i love using OPNsense and also like the Change logs / Announcements in the default Dashboard.
since i don't look into that dashboard every day i would love to incorporate that rssfeed into my feed reader where i have my other change logs.

Sadly when i try to use the forum rss ( https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?board=11.0;action=.xml ) it only shows the first three lines of content.

so my question is:
what is the RSS Link used for the Announcements widget in the default Dashboard?

thank you for your reply sadly this also did not work

it also only shows the start of the content :(

for reference most update feeds i add are github release notes like those: https://github.com/community-scripts/ProxmoxVE/releases
there you can see all the content even inside the rss feed. (like with news articles)

with kind regards

That URL is from the OpnSense code base, so it is correct. Also, when you call that link in the browser, save the file and then look at the XML content, you will see that the content is correct. You can limit the content to the last N messages, the link as given uses the last 5. It seems you can also choose the RSS version.

What is selected from that URL is up to your RSS feed reader, which may be at fault here or maybe it can only handle RSS v1.

You can also try the URL at: https://rssviewer.app/ or https://rssatom.de/ to see that I am right.
