2nd SFP+ port on opnsense not showing- not working

Hello Long story short i want to migrate from my opnsense vm to a dedicated box but my problems start when i want to assing the interfaces the 2nd sfp+ port does not get the link led blinking both for the 10GB-swich and for the nic
The nic is a X520-DA2 all SFP+ modules are intel and i checked if the SFP+ transmit leds are giving ligh with my phone, they do. tried swaping om3 patch cables still nothing

First thing: Check ifconfig... -v? on CLI, or hit Interfaces: Overview and hit the Details magnifying glass for the port. See if the SFP shows up correctly.

Second thing would be dmesg or System: Log Files: Boot, and look for errors, particularly "link failed". You never can tell.
