Hello everyone,

I`m having issues implementing OpenDNS service to work on my current setup which is as shown below

1x server acts as my DC AD+DHCP+DNS 192.168.x.1
1x Opnsense server 192.168.x.2

Topology

ISP--->Opnsense----> Win serv 2008 DC-----> Switch

I have set and changed my DNS setting under systems to use 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220
also created 2 rules ( see attached pic)

Also changed my DNS forwarder under my DC to use OpenDNS.

plz shed some lights here, Thanks

Please try "Services: DNS Filter", it's the setup page for OpenDNS and let us know if the issue persists.

Thank you for your input,

Tried that already users can still access the specified websites eg: youtube, social websites.

Does the test/update button indicate "success"? Maybe your users are getting DNS queries from somewhere else or OpenDNS is not set up correctly for your domain?

Yes testing is successful and as i`ve explained queries are all forwarded to use OpenDNS, DC is set to use DNS forwarders OpenDNS as well as my OPNsense firewall.
