Unbound delay on blacklist or whitelist

Still learning the ropes of OPNsense, coming from Untangle.

Adding a domain to the black list doesn't block the domain right away and removing a domain from the blacklist doesn't allow it right away.
If I make a change in the evening, by the next night it will take effect.

Is their something I need to restart or flush?
I tried Chrome in incognito mode and flushing windows DNS.
