Newb Question, Where do we put IP Blocklists

Anyone know how to handle IP Blocklists
Where do we put them
Ive seen blacklist files in the program, havnt investigated yet
In the firewall?
Somewhere else?
In a Queue?

the system can use them as the source of an alias https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/aliases.html which then you can use to create firewall rules.
Other services can also use them, for instance Unbound in the Blocklists section.
