Adding Management Interface to Bridge

I'm configuring a transparent bridge. Step 4 of the instructions from Opnsense say
Go to Interfaces ‣ Assign ‣ Available network port, select the bridge from the list and hit +
That does not exist in 24.1.6. How do I add a management interface to the Bridge as instructed in step 4 above?? Thanks

After you've created the initial Bridge device and selected the required member interfaces in "INTERFACES: OTHER TYPES: BRIDGE" you end up with a Bridge device, "bridge0" (or bridge1, bridge2, etc).
You need to configure an IP address on this device, for that it needs to be an OPNsense interface first. Go to "INTERFACES: ASSIGNMENTS" where you can find " Assign a new interface" at the bottom of the table. Select the Bridge device you created previously from the dropdown menu and click the "Add" button. You can give it a name (ie: MyBridge) otherwise the Bridge interface will default to OPT1 (or OPT2, OPT3, etc).
Your Bridge interface is now part of the main "Interfaces" menu where you can assign an IP address.
