Will not load after install

I've tried both UFS|ZFS from OPNsense-23.1-OpenSSL-vga-amd64.img Install goes thru the motions, looks like it should work, but will not boot after restart.
MX Linux will install, so I ass-u-me it's not the hardware.

BIOS reset to defaults

Hardware:
ThinkCentre Edge 72
500gb HHD
4gb RAM
Realtek RTL8111E, and Intel PRO/1000 PT Server Adapter Series (not installed yet)
