Lan port down when computer is powered off

Hi everyone.
I hope someone can assist me.
I have the odd situation where I have a spare Raspberry Pi that is monitoring my OpnSense and when I power off my normal pc, monitoring stops as the network connection breaks.
I have a setup with a 10.0.0.0 subnet, the fw is 10.0.0.1
My PC is on the LAN subnet and therefore gets an address 10.0.0.10
I have some VLAN's setup and the monitoring Pi is on one of them at 10.0.110.10, with a rule allowing all traffic from that VLAN to the LAN network only.
For some reason when my computer, 10.0.0.10 is powered off, monitoring stops. While it's network connection is enabled it works fine. It's almost like the port of my PC is being seen as the active port of the internal fw port.
Other VLAN's appear to work fine without any interruption to their network when my pc is powered off.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Can you provide a network diagram? I'm a little unclear as to your exact setup.
What are you using for monitoring on the pi?

I'm so sorry for the late reply. It's been a busy week :-(
Anyway, I found updating to the latest version corrected this, I was on 23.7.1.
thanks for your reply

I know the feeling. It's been busy times for me as well.
Updating to the latest version is always a good first step whenever something isn't working quite right. OPNSense fixes things fairly quickly and regularly.
