Wireguard VPN configuration dropping packets

So I configured a wire guard VPN between two DEC2750's (New) last night and it worked great! Stable and fast and this morning for some reason the VPN is dropping more packets than it's transmitting.... at first I thought it was a problem with the ISP... so I opened ICMP on the wan interface and found that I had the same problem just pinging the WAN interface on both routers from each other and was about to jump down the ISP issue Rabbit hole when I realized... the old routers which are connected to the same modems are still in operation and able to communicate with each other without issue... I'm pretty new to OPNsense and I'm not sure what to check next...
Edit: WINMTR output shows that it's the DEC2750 (or the modem/cable) dropping packets.

Will be going to the site tomorrow to swap cables, reboot the modem, and cover the basic trouble shooting. I tried setting the WAN interface to 1000baseT full duplex but it seems to have had no effect on the issue.
