port assignment assistance requested

Greetings

Running on a machine with only 1  RJ-45 jack so my two ports are listed as em0 and ue0.
em0 = RJ-45 jack and the ue0 = a USB3.0 to RJ-45 (female) dongle

Which port configuration is most likely to give the least amount of issues?

Running em0 as LAN (as the automated setup chose to do)
or running ue0 as LAN?

Please advise.
