How do I exclude a VLAN from IDS/IPS?

I have IDS/IPS set to scan two physical networks, LAN and Guest, and this seems to be fine, however on LAN I have a VLAN that I need to be excluded from IPS.
How can I tell it to ignore just the VLAN traffic?
