Stuck at a certain point trying to virtualize OPNSense in Proxmox.

Hardware: Optiplex 5060 w/ i7-8700, 32gb RAM, 1x i340-T2 for OPNSense specifically, 1x HBA LSI card to passthrough drives to TrueNAS. Proxmox is installed on the bare metal. The purpose of OPNSense is to have my set up like this: BGW210 -> OPNSense -> TL-SG2008P Switch (for wired devices) -> EAP 225 AP (for wireless devices).
This is also how I have it mapped out:

I recently taken an interest in homelabbing and my latest endeavor is trying to virtualize OPNSense in Proxmox for VLAN features as my current AT&T Uverse BGW210 box doesn't support it. Also, I am forced to use Uverse in order to get internet, I cannot replace it.
I have been following TechnoTims video on how to do this. It is pfSense but the tutorial should be largely the same, especially the part about passing through NIC cards to the OPNSense VM.

I also watched another video made about 2 weeks ago that details how to do the same thing i'm doing, with OPNSense:

The part that i'm stuck at: as soon as I boot up OPNSense and get my WAN and LAN IPs, I am instructed to go on the LAN IP to get access to the GUI. However, I am actually not able to access the GUI. It times out everytime I try to do it. Also, despite getting a WAN IP now, trying to access the internet through my switch doesn't work.
I made sure the cable from my Uverse box is connected to the NIC, and that a cable from my switch is connected to the NIC for lan.
I also made sure the NIC card is passed down to the vm in Proxmox.
One thing I had to do was do IP Passthrough/Bridge mode. I went into my BGW210 and made sure I passed it to OPNSense, or 192.168.0.30, in order to get WAN IP.
One more thing, I noticed in some tutorials doing this they have vtnet shown as their WAN and LAN, but in mine it shows igb. I do not know if this means anything or not.
Im new to doing this, and I came across some obstacles along the way. I learn as I go, but this is a hard hurdle for me.
