Web UI / Ethernet issue using proxmox
« on: April 05, 2022, 06:00:38 am »
Gday,
When I use Opnsense under proxmox it seems under any browser configuration changes constantly appear to be loading on the page and never complete in lan/wan (card is a passed through t350 2 port intel). Refreshing the page usually shows the action as completed.

However sometimes on refresh, I lose access to the ui.

My system is a 8th gen intel, vt-d enabled, tried with both sriov enabled and disabled. Qemu agent installed does nothing.

Settings on vm is a q35-3.1 (have tried default), have tried kvm and host cpu settings etc. qemu set on proxmox and have set network cars as pcie.

Any ideas appreciated, thank you

Just a lucky guess but try to enable "promiscuous mode" in settings of the Interface(s)

I had the same issue with VLANS, Page Loads sometimes partially, but never completely

I got this to work, I don't know exactly what I changed that fixed it.

Thanks for the advice above, i'll keep that in mind should I run into this again.

I re-flashed bios and there's been an opnsense update since my last post, might have been fixed there.

Thank you
