Syslog via IPSec or able to choose source interface

I have troubles setting up remote logging target as the target is accessible only via IPSEC.
Have tried different things:
1. set-up static route with LAN IP for a remote NW gateway, but has not been successful
2. manually add localip (xx.xx.xx.xx) to /usr/local/etc/syslog-ng.conf.d # cat syslog-ng-destinations.conf, but it gets overwritten when I restart the service from GUI.
Is there a workaround that would enable to set-up source ip/interface?
Can you please add "source address" option to GUI configuration similar as there one with "ping diagnostics"?
Thanks.

Firewall->Settings->Advanced->Disable force gateway should do the trick.
