directly update to the latest version and skip everything in between?

Hello,

I was wondering if it was possible to just directly update to the latest version?

So for example, say I was running 19.7. Could I directly update to 21.6?
Or is it mandatory to go through all the updates in between?

Do a fresh install and import config.xml during installation (usb-stick with /conf/config.xml)... fast and safe...

Well I was looking for more of a remote solution. All the boxes are at different locations with no tech people around.
