Hi
I want to buy a mini PCIe for opnsense 21.1
My firewall is a HUNSN RM02

Which wifi 6 card compatiility is it possible to buy?
Intel card ?

Thanks a lot

None at present AFAIK. You're better off buying a separate access point IMHO.

Thanks a lot for your response but I don't want buy separate access point.

I want a wifi card into my firewall mini PCIe

Mini PCIe is on its way out, the fastest cards available are WiFi 5. WiFi 6 is only available in M.2 form factor.
And the only M.2 WiFi 6 cards are Intel AX200 series. Which FreeBSD doesn't support (yet).

which mini pcie card is it possible about wifi 5 so?

None that actually work at 802.11ac (WiFi 5) speeds under FreeBSD. Maybe next year.

Like @marjohn56 suggested, just get an access point.

My post is about mini pcie card , not Access Point

What mini pcie card is ti possible at wifi 5 so?

Maybe something got lost in translation. There currently is no WiFi 5 / 6 support in FreeBSD at all. It's still in development.

OpNSense being in 21.1 with FreeBSD in 12.1, which WIFI PCIe card is compatible in recent generation to have 2.4 and 5 Ghz. At the moment, Wifi 6 is not accessible, but what could be recent?
The goal is to support my existing AP.

There is info on the pfSense website about wifi cards. It's not a limitation of either of the *sense projects that there is no support but a limitation within FreeBSD itself.

As I said in my original message, use an external access point.

Thanks a lot to this prompt response.

My original message, so this post, I don't want external access point.

Are there other examples of more recent maps? and at Intel?

Please take some time and look at eh forum. The Topic about WIFI Cards was already there several times. The solution always was "use an external AP"
And even if you find drivers for a Wifi card, it doesn't mean that it is working good in AP Mode

I wouldn't recommend WiFi inside a firewall though I can see why you might want 4G connectivity there as a backup

If space is a premium, why not get a Mikrotik wireless access point? They're fairly small for what they are.
