Hi,

Subject says it all really.

I've got a fresh install of OPNsense (21.1.4) and the FRR plugin.

Routing->General->Enable enabled
Routing->General->Enable logging enabled.
Routing->General-log level Debug.

Routing->BGP enabled

Routing->Diagnostics->General->Running Configuration shows "logging syslog", however both zebra.conf and bgpd.conf have correct "log syslog debugging".

More importantly, Routing->Diagnostics->Log is completely empty

Am I missing something here?

I didn't activate BGP, but otherwise I see the same problem - no logs at all the routing diagnostics. Makes it difficult to solve my FRR problem..

Can you try disable circular log?

I ran into the same problem and wasn't aware where do disable circular logging.

Here is a hint for others:
it is a system option, so go to "System" -> "Settings" -> "Logging" -> first option

and then you need to restart FRR to have logging output
