20.1 Beta ?

Apologies, if this has been addressed, but there was mention of an official 20.1 beta to be released before the end of the holidays.  So, far I've no word about it on the forums or social media.  Opnsense is solid as is, of course, but I do have curiosity for what freebsd 12.1 brings to the table and would greatly appreciate an update on the prospective beta release.

Happy New Year and I wish you and yours well during the new decade. Yes - I second your thoughts around HardenedBSD 12 - However, there is an answer from franco on this topic found here :
https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=15350.0 - and I quote him " Plans changed due to a rough track towards 12.1. Announcement follows." This reply was posted on December 26, 2019. So, I guess that we will just have to wait a bit longer for 20.1 in any event.

Thank you very much for the wishes and the info!  I missed that thread.  Albeit, disappointed, I am no less excited for what this change holds for opnSense.

Hi guys,

There will be an announcement but at the moment 19.7.9 takes priority due to GeoIP changes in the upstream database requiring a subscriptions so first things first. :)
