Because Protectli representatives see value in Open Source Firmware for their customers.

Have you got any suggestions about other hardware platforms for which porting to Open Source Firmware would benefit OPN sense community? TBH creating reasonable selection criteria is beyond 3mdeb at this point - we are not professional network appliance experts, but we are pretty sure that correct firmware support can bring benefits to network appliance world.
