Vigor 130 SKY MER and Opnsense

Spent all of last Sunday trying to get this to work, and a few hours through the week but made no progress at all.
I have NOW (SKY) broadband currently connected using a TP link router, which I want to migrate across to opnsense via a Vigor 130 ADSL Modem.
it appears that the Vigor needs to be configured as a Bridge thereby letting Pfnsese negociate a DHCP lease.
I have configured the vigor in bridge mode, disabled PPP and enabled MPoA as per this guide:
https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/guides/kb-vigor-130-bridge
and the DSL light is on (not flashing) so I can only assume it has established a connection.
Then I need to configure the WAN in opnsense to use DHCP Option 61 as per this guide:
https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/how-tos/SkyUK.html
I have followed that guide, probably a dozen times starting with a factory reset, but it never is able to get an IP lease.
After configuration and "apply" there's a delay of about 5 minutes when it time outs and of course no connection.
Tried rebooting afterwards but it never gets a lease.
Does anybody have this working with Vigor 130 & SKY/NOW as I am all out of ideas.

I set one of these modems up with Sky recently. Things to check:
- Load the latest BT (OpenReach?) firmware
https://www.draytek.co.uk/support/downloads/vigor-130
- Try VLAN 101, 1 or none
- When in doubt, factory reset and set up bridge mode and VLAN again.
The DHCP option is necessary and sufficient to get a public IP in OPNsense. Make sure you save and reboot.

I set this up myself and was pretty successful myself and for anyone needing it this is how i set it up with Sky superfast broadband using DHCP.
1 - Turn on your Vigor modem and connect desktop/laptop to the lan port and then visit 192.168.2.1 and sign in with admin/admin as user & password and In the vigor dashboard you go to internet access >> MPoA / Static or Dynamic IP Menu click enable button, save and it reboots and that's it.
2 - After rebooting you turn the vigor off and set it up in a suitable location near your opnsense box, turn the vigor on and connect the yellow lan port to your opnsense wan port with a network cable.
3 - Sign into the opnsense dashboard and check wan status, this should (it has with mine) just connect you to the internet and provide DHCP 4/6, Mac address and so on automatically with no configuring.
I did nothing but just connect an ethernet cable from the wan port of opnsense to the lan port of vigor and it automatically did the rest on both ends which was painless.
