I'm currently on OPNsense 15.1.17 and I've not been paying attention to this but trying to get it running today I see this error when I tried to start it manually:
/usr/local/libexec/softether/vpncmd: Undefined symbol "iconv_open"

I'm guessing this will fix it...
# pkg install -f softether
If so, this is a ports/pkg problem.
I'm feeling lucky.

Pushed this to FreeBSD....

Thanks for noticing, Bill!

No sure what your status is here, but we wrapped this up in FreeBSD. Native fix will be in 15.7.18, it'll even reinstall for you.
