Two Factor Authentication Failure

Hello All,
I am running OPNsense 18.7.4
so I followed the instructions via the link below to activate 2FA.
https://wiki.opnsense.org/manual/how-tos/two_factor.html
Authentication continues to fail when using the access tester. I've tried with the pin both before and after the password. The time is sync up properly and if I attempt to authenticate locally it works with password.
Is their a step not mentioned via the link that I am missing here?
For testing purposes I made the user a member of the admin group and still same results.
Thanks for all responses.

Hi,
One common pitfall seems to be that first time users scan the documentation QR code, not their actual QR code in the web interface. This will make the login fail...
Cheers,
Franco

In OpenVPN I activated Server Mode to Remote Access (SSL/TLS + User Auth). Now activating the VPN connection only the normal password from the user database is accepted. As soon as I give the TOTP with the password I cannot login.

Hi danbet, did you create OTP seed for your VPN user?
Is TOTP working for other services, like login dashboard?
Greetings, mark
