Hello All
I have a recurring issue about my wan interface on Opnsense frequently going off and having to manually turn it back on
My use case of this OPNsense is that I am a VPN administrator for my company and we offer Wireguard VPN for our employees who will have to access internal company resources when working from home most of the time after every two weeks this issue comes up where the WAN interface shows connected alright but then no traffic seems to come through that interface. Could that be as a result of a misconfiguration on my end ?
Also not just for the Wireguard OPNsense firewall other OPNsense we have at our other sub-offices face the same WAN issues what could be the course, please

Hello I need help with regards to making my IPs transparent through OPNsense to FortiGate

Use Case
So I have two firewalls on my network OPNsense as the (user firewall) and Fortigate as the (internet edge firewall). Currently with this setup  when clients connect from the user  firewall and push traffic to the internet through the fortigate the fortiview only sees the WAN IP of the OPNsense and not the client IP connected from the LAN side of the OPNsense. What we want to achieve is that we make the OPNsense side transparent so that when a client connected from lan pushes traffic from the LAN opnsense through to the fortigate to reach the internet  we can inspect the traffic from the forti viewer and see the IP of the client and not the WAN IP of the OPNsense.

Thanks.

Hello all,
I have configured a captive portal to monitor my wireguard clients when they connect to their VPN. Just a few days ago I experienced power instability at my end and my firewall went down. When it came up all services were up except for my captive portal how do I resolve this?

Also i want to know does setting up HA always have to be a fresh setup or the backup can come up later and we can still achieve HA
