Issues appears to be resolved. I am now receiving updates from Maxminbd. My only concern is that the IP range count has not changed. I will continue to monitor.

I fixed the issue mention by increasing the permitted firewall table size. I would still like to know how to properly update the GeoIP databases from MaxMind. Thanks

I had no issues installing the GeoIP databases from Maxmind. Now I get the foillowing error: Error loading alias [GeoIPCountryList]: Unknown error: -1. {current_size: 0, new_size: 560351}, The methodology I am using is to simply hit apply in Firewall -> Aliases. Is there another method that should be used to update?

I resolved this by adding a Management interface. I used a fixed IP for that interface. Then I removed IPs from every other interface in the transparent bridge. I can now access the WebGUI via the Management interfcace. Hope this helps

I am in the process of configuring MGeoIP on my Opnsense. I am having trouble finding the correct down URL which is required as a part of the GeoIP settings.I have an account with Maxmind but just need to know where/how to find the proper URL (Maxmind) to be used for Geo updates. I'm configuring a transparent bridge. Step 4 of the instructions from Opnsense say
Go to Interfaces ‣ Assign ‣ Available network port, select the bridge from the list and hit +
That does not exist in 24.1.6. How do I add a management interface to the Bridge as instructed in step 4 above?? Thanks

I am configuring a transparent bridge and am having difficulty adding a Management interface to the bridge as per instructions on the Opnsense forum.

4. Assign a management IP/Interface
To be able to configure and manage the filtering bridge (OPNsense) afterwards, we will need to assign a new interface to the bridge and setup an IP address.

Go to Interfaces ‣ Assign ‣ Available network port, select the bridge from the list and hit +.

The path to add the management interface does not exist. What do I need to do to add the management interface??
