Virtual private networks / OpenVPN Site to Site connection status as add_routes
« on: October 21, 2023, 03:54:52 pm »
Hello everyone,
I am pretty new to setting up the OPNSense Firewall.
I have an OpenVPN Server set at Location A (Center Location). The Open VPN server is provided by another vendor and is not OPNSense / pfSense.
At location B I installed the OPNSense Firewall (Version 23.7.6) and need to set up the site-to-site VPN tunnelling between 2 networks.
I referred many tutorials and made the entries in the OPNSense as Client VPN Setup. I added the Trust Authorities details for the Open VPN server located at Location A.
I made an entry for the Clients under the OpenVPN option in the OPNSense FW. When I check for the status, it states add_routes. I added all the network address CIDR while setting up the Client.
I also added the interface and enabled and added the routes in System -> Routes, but the status is the same and there is no change.
Kindly help me in the matter and help me with setting the connection.
Regards
