Hi ,

I have a layer 2 switch (Dlink switch DGS-1100-08V2) and opnsense.

I am trying to set a communication between 2 devices which are in vlan 10 and 20.

Device1(vm)
IP Address:10.90.90.13/24
Default gateway :10.90.90.3
VLAN :10

Device 2 (mqtt)
IP address:10.90.93.2/30
default gateway:10.90.93.1
vlan :30

In Switch port connected to opnsense is configured as a trunk port (tagged port)

Similarily the vlan, firewall rules and gateway are set in opnsense.

This is my setup. Please find the attached screenshots of gateway and firewall configuration.
I am unable to ping the devices at the moment.
Appreciate if anybody could help me

The vm is configured in default vlan in switch ,opal in vlan 20 and mqtt in vlan 30 .
I have assigned a trunk port(vlan 20,30) in the connection between switch and opnsense.
but the default vlan is not set in the trunk port .
when i try to set it the opnsense gui crashes.

So the pc is connected to the switch via ethernet cable and the port is assigned to be in default vlan.

I am a student using opnsense for the first time.
I am using opnsense as a router by installing it in a tower PC.In my setup,
I have 3 devices with are connected to the router via a switch
All the devices are in different network .
Device 1:10.90.90.13/24 in vlan 1
device2:10.90.92.2/30 in vlan 10
device 3:10.90.93.2/30 in vlan 30  of the switch respectively.

I have set the interfaces, vlan, dhcpv4,firewall,gateway in opnsense.

Default Gateway:
Device 1:10.90.90.1
Device 2:10.90.92.1
Device 3 :10.90.93.1
At the moment i am able to ping the default gateways from the devices.
My goal is to able to communicate between the devices.

I am stuck in this for a long time.
Appreciate if someone could provide some ideas.

I have 3 devices a VM ,OPAL and a Mqtt gateway connected to switch in port 1 ,2 and 3 respectively. I am trying to set the vlan for these devices in switch and opnsense.

Vm is connected to port 1 and set as vlan 10 (untagged port),
similarily opal in vlan 20 in port 2(untagged port) and mqtt gateway in vlan 30 in port 3(untagged port).
The opnsense is connected to the port 8 of the switch (tagged port).

Similarily the vlan,firewall rules and dhcpv4 are set in opnsense as well.
The problem is whenever i set the vlan in switch the web interface of opnsense crashes.
