Is it possible to setup opnsense with a vpn killswitch and failover (if the vpn dies, then switch to second vpn etc)

Maybe you're right. But the rpi comes with 8GB of memory under 100€. Would it work for the same purpose?

That's my best bet. but its very expensive. Considering 1y warranty I wouldn't use it in a missile..

how many interfaces you need (minimum 2)
what interface speed you need (100/100 Mbps)
your uplink speed (100/100 Mbps)
your connection type (DHCP, static, PPPoE, ...) (DHCP)
what services you want to run on your OPNsense (OpenVPN, UFW)
space and power constraints (Rather not a desktop)
new or used (new)
spare parts available (very old spare parts, 10-11 old hardware, good for FreeBSD or OpenBSD Xfce)

Maybe this is the wrong section. Whats the cheapest reliable hardware I may use for mu opensense router?

Are there better alternatives for ufw killswitchs etc?
