Hi everyone,
I'm trying to create a group in opnsense with access only to zenarmor policies/edit policies. In system access groups system privileges only 2 privileges are related to zenarmor - dashboard and reports. Tried to tick only them - no access to zenarmor policies, access appears only if I tick "All pages" ,but it gives super user privileges for this group. Does anyone know if I can give to group of users only access to policy editing PS: I need to give a user only access to whitelist sites. thanks

-spider, thanks.
I can access my OpnSense by VPN. But I can not access my router which is working now in Access Point mode.
I suggest I can not access my router with VPN, because it does not have an option to set up a gateway.
So in my router, I put IP in the same subnet as my OpnSense. Is it some way around to access my router's GUI without a gateway?

Tried with 2 routers. All the same. OPNsense can ping it, and ARP table is populated only after I ping.
I can access all my devices that are connected to the router with VPN, but not the router.

Hello,
I have the Opnsense box with two ethernets, one is getting internet from the modem, and one is connected to the router LAN port.
My router works as a WLAN AccessPoint. It has a static IP address (the same subnet as OpnSense DHCP), so I can access the web interface with this static IP if I am connected to the WIFI. But I do not see the router from DHCP leases - but I can ping it from Diagnostics and see it from the ARP table.
I have a WireGuard server in OpnSense, have access to my LAN from this VPN. But I do not see my Router and can't ping it from VPN.
Is it possible to access my Router's Web Interface from my VPN?

No I don't spoof/clone a MAC address, ISP doesn't have such requirements.
Sorry if I could sound silly. About assign the parent re1 as a separate interface.

- Now I made a vlan with tag 2 on interface re1.
- After I made a point to point pppoe where I added this re1_vlan2.
- And in Assignments, I added - pppoe0(re1_vlan2) - myusername@tpg.com.au (this is my ISP) on WAN.

Should I just add a new interface with re1(myboxMAC) in Assignments? Enable it?

No, it didn't have any other errors.
I installed opnsense on the box now. Updated, installed Realtek plugin, it's running for now. But it was running before as well, until didn't start to turn off the internet.
Thanks for the advise.
I think I will see soon if the error would come back.

Hello everyone, registered as  I really like opnsense and want to use it.
My internet provider uses pppoe with vlan tag 2.
Everything was smooth before the 22.1 update.
Suddenly it started to cut off my internet. In logs the disconnecion starts from an error: "/usr/local/etc/rc.bootup: The command '/usr/sbin/ngctl msg 're1_vlan2': setautosrc 1' returned exit code '71', the output was 'ngctl: send msg: No such file or directory'"
Does anyone know what can be an issue and how to fix it? I tried the clean install - it works for a few days, but after it randomly starts playing up again. Well I decided to try sophos xg home, and I want to use opnsense,as it's much better. Please help.
