I'm pretty new to OpnSense so still feeling around most settings.

I have installed an Opnsense router but I'm having issues with certain services just not connecting, stalling and needing refreshes to get them to work,etc. Most sites work fine but it seems ones with enhanced security fail (banking apps on phones etc) I've checked DNS and fixed some big buffer bloat issues by tweaking the Shaper/codel settings but we're still having issues.

Dashboard interface stats is not reporting any errors or collisions.
IPV6 is off. 
I tweaked the MTU so packets aren't being fragmented.

Anything else I need to look at? What logs are most useful for diagnosing this problem and where can I find them?

Did you find out what this was in the end? I've just started having similar problems. If I reboot the modem, I have to reboot the OPNsense router too.

The only vaguely relevant doc I've managed to find is this one https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/how-tos/ipsec-road.html which I haven't manged to get to work. Should this work for Windows 10? Anything I need to change to get it to work? Maybe you can point me towards a link of instructions that would work?

New to Opnsense so still a bit confused with all the extra options my old firewall never had.

Anyway, I'm trying to configure OpnSense with an IPsec VPN tunnel with a preshared key that will work with a bog-standard Windows 10 client but struggling to make sense of any of it. Anyone got some pointers on how to do this?
