The IPsec tunnel between the two offices is up. Suppose i am site A and the other one is Site B. Site B can only acces site A's firewall but cannot go further from firewall to the server that has to be accessed over vpn. Connection for site A is as under.

Internet router-->Opnsense-->Coreswitch-->Server(This server has to be accessed over vpn).

I have configured IPSEC site 2 site in opnsense firewall. The tunnel link is up but still i cant access remote host???

What i am missing???

hi folks,

i need to connect two offices situated in different cities over sie to site vpn using opnsense. I am beginner to vpn. need complete assistance with screen shots if possible regarding deploying vpn.

myksto dear i am using router in between two firewalls.

both are installed in the same building for load balancing purpose and hardware failover as well.

Yes bart "block private networks" is disabled on wan interface

Hi,

i have installed two OPNSENSE firewall.
One firewall has LAN IP of 172.16.1.1 and the other firewall has LAN IP of 172.16.2.1

ping fails from 1st firewall (172.16.1.1) to 2nd firewall (172.16.2.1)
ping successes from 2nd firewall (172.16.2.1) to 1st firewall (172.16.1.1)

why i am not getting ping in first scenario???

Any help would be highly appreciated.
