Hi,

How long until the fix will be available in OPNsense officially?

Thanks.

It appears to have been applied to the latest OPNsense release from earlier today. Was able to enable PIE after updating and so far running well after an additional reboot!

I too have AT&T fiber but wasn't aware/using this bypass and was having issues with my AT&T and my backup Spectrum connections working. While rebooting I noticed it finally was allowing an internet connection but nothing worked after the reboot. Were you able to find a way around it or reverted back to 24.1.10 like me?

P.S.
Was setting up the bypass difficult for you or noticed any significant changes?

19.7 Legacy Series / OpenDNS Getting NoHost/abuse
September 03, 2019, 03:30:56 AM
Hello,

I was trying out the OpenDNS service and at first it took my credentials and enabled everything flawlessly. After about a day or so my DNS request weren't going through I saw that if I went back to the service I was getting either NoHost or Abuse as the test result.
I'm still getting NoHost now but I've enabled Dynamic IP on my OpenDNS Dashboard for my home network and ensured it has my current home IP.
Before I was getting abuse after my DNS request weren't going through.

I've restarted OPNsense services, reset my states in OPNsense and verified my username/password and the Network name under the OpenDNS service settings, and restarted my OPNsense box after all this but no dice.

I'm not sure what the abuse test result was. I have another separate home network that I set up under another network name but under the same account that is running well so far.

Does anyone have any ideas what I may be missing?

Edit:
After hours I just kept trying different names until it finally went through to resolve this so far.

Hello,

I'm not sure if this has been found or mentioned by anyone but the wake on lan page doesn't show via the dashboard or allow me to use the wake button through the dashboard. It'll direct me to a "Page not found" within the OPNsense web manager.
I've tried reinstalling add-on, restarting OPNsense, using multiple browsers/devices and even on the default OPNsense theme. Now if I go under services I can get to the page and wake my devices through there just not the dashboard.

General Discussion / Re: nut service not starting
August 13, 2018, 07:29:30 AM
I've noticed even when I was still running pfSense in the past and when I made the switch to OPNsense that despite the system recognizing the UPS is plugged in. If I set everything up (just like yours da0) and even reboot multiple times the service will not register until I unplug the usb cable at least at one end then plug back in (maybe another reboot) to get the service to recognize. I can't recall if I've had the freezing issue on the Gui but the occasional extended wait if I restart it or start it up if it wasn't running.
