technically AES/NI is supported on select Intel & AMD. Maybe your proc doesnt support the instruction set

can you please run "kldstat" and see if you can see the aesni module is loaded or not?

something like this

15    1 0xffffffff82bed000     8d50 aesni.ko

I am totally new to opnsense as i migrated from pfsense. The HAProxy 3.0 UI is new to me and I cant figure out how to do it. Can someone please write an updated guide for HAP 3.0 ?
this is my requirements

Real Server IP: 192.168.1.50:80 - webserver listening on port 80

I have configured a wildcard cert

Now how do i do this?

PS: For now i'm using Caddy to do the reverse proxy for me but i'd rather do this on opnsense so that i dont have to maintain another server

I'm new to opnsense from pfsense. this UPS worked fine with the plugin there.

I tried installing this plugin and I also tried all options mentioned here, but NUT just freezes my opnsense UI. Not sure where i look for the logs?

i had to reload all services to get my UI to start working again.

any ideas?

I have a cyberpower UPS connected via USB

Please check this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yIq3GM4gjA

i was able to get it working.

i use Policy based blocking instead of rule based

Moreover, if you have Sensei installed, you might have to select WAN instead of LAN for it to work

@genesysguy editing the ups.conf file fixed it.  It works now.  I had some extra lines too.

Now that it's added I assume OPNsense will now power down if the battery gets critical? Didn't see any config for that part so assume that's predefined somewhere else.

this is done by the upsmon.conf but no point modifying it as it will be overwritten in the next update

this is pretty much default and not sure at what % opnsense shuts down.

https://networkupstools.org/docs/man/upsmon.conf.html

AFAIK there is no way in opnsense gui to modify this.

I'm new to opnsense.

I've configured the host overrides to map internal IPs to hosts. But i cant ping them OR connect to them. These hosts are also defined in my cloudflare DNS server. instead of resolving the internal IP it returns the external IP of the firewall.

Any ideas as to why this happens?

for e.g. my bitwarden.domain.com is mapped to an internal IP 192.168.15.4 in UNBound Host Overrides
when i ping bitwarden.domain.com it returns the external IP
