Changed GUI ports, no acces anymore!
« on: February 01, 2017, 02:17:52 pm »
Running 17.1.r1 and all is nearly 100% fine and working.

Needed to swap ports for the GUI, and replaced the HTTPS first and all worked like a charm.
After I changed to HTTP and 8080, now I can't no longer access the GUI.

The last solution is to wipe and reset it thru the terminal, but as I wrote, it's the last solution.

Any tips?

change wan and lan ip address to something else, and see if it rebinds to default ports, then change back up the ip addresess of wan/lan ip, and it will rebind to default ports.

may be worth trying.

Connect to the console (via SSH if configured) and select option 13. Restore a configuration dated before you made the change in GUI port.

If you want to change the GUI port, you need to create a firewall rule first.

Modern browsers try to enforce HTTPS, this may get in the way of HTTP on port 8080.
