Softether VPN broken?
« on: October 31, 2015, 05:29:30 pm »
I'm currently on OPNsense 15.1.17 and I've not been paying attention to this but trying to get it running today I see this error when I tried to start it manually:

/usr/local/libexec/softether/vpncmd: Undefined symbol "iconv_open"

I'm guessing this will fix it...

# pkg install -f softether

If so, this is a ports/pkg problem.

I'm feeling lucky. ;)

Pushed this to FreeBSD.... https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=204184

Thanks for noticing, Bill! :)

No sure what your status is here, but we wrapped this up in FreeBSD. Native fix will be in 15.7.18, it'll even reinstall for you. :)
