Prefetch websites
« on: October 11, 2018, 10:54:20 pm »
Hi,

Due to an upgrade I'm left with a 1TB msata SSD that I can only use in my OPNsense router.
I can of course use this for cache proxy, but is there also a way to prefetch websites that my users frequently visit?
I'm working a lot with satellite communication where you see this function regularly to minimize bandwidth usage.
Is there a way to set this up in OPNsense?

you may get it done by putting them manually in the squid cache directory and assign a huge amount of space to it.
