Hello,

My very first post here! Hope I can get some insight on OPNSense issue I am having.

Been using pfSense for a very long time with no issues at all, I found OPNSense and decided to give it a go but, for my surprise, everything was stalled just because it seems that it is "impossible" to install / boot OPNSense with 2 NIC's on XenServer 7.6.

If I only have one NIC added to the VM in XenServer it boots and works fine but if I add the second NIC it doesn't boot. Tried everything I could think off without success.

NOTES:
- Both NIC's are physical Intel hardware and work fine on all other VM's, including pfSense.
- Running i386 versions of OPNSense (i386 VM also).

Anyone had the same issue? Any ideas?

Thank you!

[EDIT] - Just gave up of OPNSense for now. Thank you anyway.

I have no experience running OPNsense on XenServer, but why are you using i386???
Hobbyist at home, sysadmin at work. Sometimes the first is mixed with the second.

Because its an old (Core2Quad) server box with XenServer 7.6 that I use as a firewall and related VM's.

pfSense works great in it but OPNSense, when I add a second NIC it just doesn't boot, tried to give it a go but without success.
