I was thinking of upgrading my connectx-2 cards to newer connectx-3 QSFP+ cards has anyone had experience with the newer series of cards or problems compiling the drivers?

Hm, I believe only 4 and 5 are supported out of the box

Yeah Ive been using the connectx-2 I compiled and loaded the drivers. But I'm wanting to move over to QSFP+ cheapest way is with the connectx-3 cards. Just don't want to spend money if someone already knows it doesn't work or if it has problems. Looks like Ill just grab one and compile the drivers and see if it works out...

Maybe you have how to loaded the driver for melanox-2. I have problem with it. It didn't show in my opnsense.
